[To be read in conjunction with Response to RCA on Training & Competence in Anaesthesia for Plastic Surgery & Burns]2 Levels of competence & knowledge

  1. For all anaesthetic trainees including those who show an interest in the specialty & might wish to do 1 - 2 Plastic Surgical sessions per week as a consultant - Level 1
  2. For those wishing to work wholly or mostly in a large Plastic Surgery & Burns Unit. Some of these skills may be acquired & developed after appointment to a consultant post. - Level 2
